Early meetings covered how human practices differs from outreach, award criteria, and assigned readings. Members presented past winning projects and began country stakeholder lists (India, Nigeria, Indonesia, China, Indigenous communities of Canada). Plastic-degrading enzyme (PETase) goals framed for HP — wastewater contacts and government/agency outreach.
